I was on a weekend getaway to Sacramento. This place was in a walking distance from my Airbnb. I am so glad I walked in here. We ordered 1. Drunken noodles with veggies 2. Pineapple Fried Rice 3. Truffle fries It is a small place and gets filled fast. Among so many orders, kudos to the chef that he ensures to maintain the quality and the taste for all the orders. Everything tasted so fresh and properly cooked. Among the above three orders, Pineapple fried rice was the highlight. It had a good balance of flavors. Drunken noodles were also really good. The quantity of the food is well balanced to fill you up. Overall ambience of the place is also supercool. There was a light piano music playing in the background to keep you engaged, but also leaving room for you to talk with your buddies. If you are on a trip to Sacramento, I highly recommend going to this place and trying their delicacies.
The one thing I truly adore about Sac is the Thai food. The prices here were sooo affordable (12-14 a plate) and the servings are perfect for 2-3 people. We ordered it spicy, and I thought I could handle it but I am a novice for spicy food. For me who eats medium to low spice, I couldn't handle it. My friend who adores spicy food said it didn't taste that spicy, so it all comes down to what you can handle. What stood out the most had to be the potstickers, pad thai, the rice with chicken and veggies, and the Thai tea (which was huge and sooo creamy and yummy).
Lovely modern atmosphere with pretty decent food. It's on the spicier end of things, so adjust accordingly. I thought that the prices are incredibly good for the portion sizes. The curry was huge and also includes rice. Additionally, it was very clean and located in Midtown. I quite enjoyed it. I tried the fresh roll, and it was okay. I would try a diff appetizer. Otherwise, the noodles are really good, curry also solid, and papaya salad also good (I asked for mild but it felt more like a Thai-spicy kind of mild).
Food was great! Everything tasted delicious. A bit on the pricey side but overall worth it. I like the fact that they stay open later than other Thai restaurants. Parking was a bit of a challenge.
Absolutely loved our evening at Hiso. They were kind enough to accommodate our large group of 29! Not to be missed: vegetable basil fried rice and Penang curry. Even the veggie egg rolls were scrumptious. Highly recommend!!
The best ‘Tomsaab kradook Moo’ Love all dishes, with the last touch up of mango and sticky rice is awesome. The sticky rice is warm and ice cream. The price is much better than comparing to Los Angeles
Service, food, drinks and atmosphere is 6/5! This was my second time visiting and every time I get something different but I'm never let down! Their traditional Lao papaya salad is BOMB, but beware their spices aren't meant for the weak. Everything I’ve heard from my lap friend is very authentic. I got the drunken noodle this time with chicken and I licked the plate clean. They also have fun Soju and sake bombs or if you'd like a glass of wine or beer. I can't do too much fried food, but their fried chicken skin was so delicious and not too oily that we got 2 orders! Then finish off your dinner with a delicious mango sticky rice, you know it's a good spot when they also include icecream with the mango sticky rice and you have 2 options
UNDERRATED!! As someone who’s from NYC this was actually one of the best thai food i’ve ever had in a while. Not only does everything taste great their portions are great. I’m still thinking about this place and wish there was in NYC. I recommend you check this spot out!!!
